Domestic interiors were to become her speciality and after only 2 years London's most prestigious design house, Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, invited her to head one of their 6 design teams. It was an important accolade and recognition for a designer still in her mid-20s. Sophie Stonor brought a young, fresh approach to her international clients and has continued to do so ever since - latterly as an independent designer once more.
